INTRODUCING: Standing Tall

Norwich band Standing Tall are about to release their second EP, Still Breathing, and you can get a taster for what to expect with the official video for the title track (below).

Standing Tall, otherwise known as front-man Blake, guitarist Holen, bassist Tom and drummer Danny, have been together for 2 years now, but after a recent slight line-up change, the now 4 piece are starting afresh with a new approach to their sound.

With influences from Foo Fighters, Alexisonfire and Deftones, this is the first EP the guys have written together as a band, rather than individuals. Recorded in Hertfordshire with producer Dan Lancaster, I personally get a Deaf Havana vibe from this 5 track EP and that most certainly isn’t a bad thing!

Although being no strangers to a live performance playing an array of shows across the UK including Scotland, Birmingham, Brighton and East Anglia supporting bands such as Under The Influence and The First, Standing Tall shall play their first headline show at Norwich’s Waterfront on July 5th to celebrate the release of Still Breathing. (Tickets just £5 and are available from the website).

Still Breathing EP is out July 5th, and the Still Breathing single is available for free download now.

  1. With havin so much content and articles do you ever
run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation?
My site has a lot of unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization. Do you know any methods to help prevent content from being ripped off? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
