Formed in early 2012, Brighton via Morecombe 4 piece The Art Club have an incredibly catchy indie-pop sound which is guaranteed to stick in your mind.

The Art Club, made up of David (vocals & guitar), Theo (drums), Daisy (keyboard), and Matt (bass), have had a good start to their music career. Supporting the likes of Orphan Boy, This Many Boyfriends and The Heartbreaks, getting airplay on BBC Radio 6Music, and even playing a packed out headliner show in Paris.

The Art Club’s self released debut single Let’s Start Again (above) was released in September 2012, and the video features an ‘old school’ vibe, greatly put together with vintage clips and a water side performance.

Their new single, Sorry, is described as an ‘infectiously dreamy record with rich 80s sound and a post-punk edge’ and I couldn’t agree more. This song has a great summer feel and to make it even better, it is available for FREE DOWNLOAD for one month!

Get your copy of Sorry here, and hear more from The Art Club via their SoundCloud here. A personal favourite track of mine is the beautifuly haunting Baptism.

If you’re a fan of The Art Club, they are playing a handful of upcoming shows in the UK this summer:

20th July – Blind Tiger, Brighton
26th July – Indietracks Festival, Nottingham
9th August – Buffalo Bar, London
14th August – Surya, London
