You Me At Six – Lived A Lie

It’s been two years since the release of their last album, Sinners Never Sleep, and now You Me At Six are finally back with the first single from their forthcoming album, Cavalier Youth.

Lived A Lie is certainly a more upbeat sound compared to darker singles likes Bite My Tongue and No One Does It Better, but it’s still undeniably got that You Me At Six twang that is always recognisable.

With front man Josh Franceschi openly admitting he is in a happier place in his life now, are we saying goodbye to the emotional and angry sounds that the 5 piece poured onto Sinners Never Sleep? Either way, we’re certainly a fan and excited for the next step of the Surrey boys’ career.

Josh, Dan, Chris, Max and Matt spent this summer in LA writing and recording the new album, which is expected for release early 2014.

You Me At Six support Thirty Seconds To Mars on their tour later this year, including playing a night at London’s 02 Arena (November 23).

Lived A Lie is out now.
