After weeks of rumours and numerous hints, yesterday’s press conference confirmed that former pop rock sensations Busted and McFly would unite in a joint project – McBusted. Tour dates for next year have been announced, along with a new website and twitter account.
According to the band, the tour will include both bands performing as a whole, with setlists consisting of the biggest tracks from both bands’ discographies. McBusted, consisting of Tom Fletcher, Harry Judd, Dougie Poynter, Danny Jones, James Bourne and Matt Willis, will make their first appearance together this Friday (November 15) at Children In Need.
Charlie Simpson, who left Busted back in 2004 (and has since released a total of four studio albums both as a solo-artist and frontman of the band Fightstar), confirmed on Twitter that he would not be taking part in any reunion plans.
