First bands for Slam Dunk 2014 announced

A new year means a new Festival Season approaching us. With massive line up’s being released left right and centre, we now all patiently wait on the hope for good bands on the more budget end of the festival spectrum.

Slam Dunk has always been one of the best value for money day festivals in the UK, and 2014 is not about to change that.

This years first headliner comes from All American Rejects, which i’m sure will see thousands of us at the main stage, screeching the lyrics to Dirty Little Secret and reliving our youth.

2014 also welcomes another big name on the bill, this time from the likes of Los Angeles post-hardcore band letlive. (below), who are well known for their incredible live sets – definitely not one to miss.

The line up continues with Goldfinger, The Ghost Inside, Zebrahead, Bury Tomorrow, The Devil Wears Prada, Canterbury, H20, I Am The Avalanche, Crown The Empire, Real Friends, Neck Deep, I Killed The Prom Queen, Decade, Caliban, and Fandangle.

Slam Dunk 2014 see’s one of the most diverse and heavier initial line-up’s in years. With pop punk slightly overtaking main stages in previous years, this leaves us nothing but excited for whatever the next announcement for the 7 stages may be.

If you want to attend one of, if not the, best day festival in the UK, all these bands and many more will be at Slam Dunk North (Leeds University) on Saturday 24th May, Slam Dunk South (The Forum, Hertforshire) on Sunday 25th May, and finally Slam Dunk Midlands (Wolverhampton Civic) on Bank Holiday Monday, 26th May.

Tickets for all three Slam Dunk events go on sale tomorrow (February 14) at 9AM.
