Having recently announced their upcoming US tour with The Used and Tonight Alive, emo/alternative rock favourites Taking Back Sunday have released another surprise in the form of their sixth studio album, Happiness Is. Originally set for release on March 18th, fans were delighted to hear that the band had streamed the full record online.
Taking Back Sunday have been somewhat quiet following the release of their 2011 self-titled record, up until the release of the first single from Happiness Is – a track titled ‘Flicker Fade‘ that highlights the band’s signature sound, giving us the perfect taster of what to expect from the new album. The second consecutive album to feature the band’s revived lineup, the record was produced by Marc Jacob Hudson (Saves The Day, Two Tongues) and Mike Sapone (Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, Straylight Run).
You can hear the album for yourself below (or for US and Aussie fans, check out the band’s online Pandora playlist).
Happiness Is will be available from March 18th. Vinyl and t-shirt bundles along with pre-orders are available now via Hopeless Records. For further updates from the band, keep in touch on their Facebook page and official website.
