If you’re looking for updates of simplistic, beautiful and colourful outfits, there’s only one fashion blogger to turn to – Charlotte Fisher. Born on the Isle of Wight but now residing in England’s capital for her Geography degree, Charlotte regularly updates her blog and Instagram with her fashion finds.
We caught up with the 20 year old to find out who would make the cut for her dream festival line up, what one album she’d listen to for the rest of her life, and just where Gareth Gates slots into her music library…
Tell us about ‘Things I Do, Think and Buy’ and how you got an interest for fashion blogging?
Ah god, that URL is there to haunt me! People don’t understand why I think it’s so bad, but when you’ve had your friends mock you about what you’re ‘doing’, ‘thinking’ and ‘buying’ in everyday situations, it gets a little tiresome! I literally decided to start documenting my outfits, and creating a space to vent internet-y things, and here we are almost 4 months later!
What has been your biggest achievement since starting your blog?
Blimey, hitting 20,000 followers on Instagram! In January I was on about 2,500 so to have had my audience expand that much is crazy!
Do you still buy physical albums or are you a download convert?
I have all of my blink-182 albums in physical form, but that’s it.
If you could create your own festival, which 4 acts would you choose to headline?
blink-182, Katy Perry, Robbie Williams (What?! It’s not like I almost said Justin Bieber either…) and The Killers.
What was the first concert/gig you went to? What was the last?
Angels and Airwaves! I was always a massive blink-182 fan but by the time I was old enough for my first gig they were on their hiatus, so I had to settle for Tom Delonge and his entourage (can I say that?!). The last gig was Chines, my boyfriend’s band, but I don’t think that counts… Ok don’t judge me, I went to the ‘Jingle Bell Ball’ on my birthday in December… KATY PERRY WAS PLAYING OK!!
Tell us about an upcoming band you feel we should know about?
What was the first CD you ever bought?
It definitely wasn’t Gareth Gates’ debut ablum…
If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
blink-182’s self-titled album. I’ve been listening to this album non stop for over 10 years! It’s impossible to get sick of. I still remember the day I bought it in Tesco and then listened to it on my portable CD player in the car journey home! Start to finish this album is a masterpiece – Down and Stockholm Syndrome are two of my favourite songs, ever.
What was the last song you listened to?
Fancy by Iggy Azalea.
What can we expect from you in 2014?
Lots more annoying sassy poses in different outfits! Hopefully I get the hang of this whole Youtube thing too! I’d say world domination but that’s more of a 2015 thing.
