Finch announce release date for ‘Back to Oblivion’

Nine years on from the release of Say Hello to Sunshine, Finch are back with the announcement that they will be releasing their third studio album, Back to Oblivion’ on September 29th via Spinefarm Records. It’s been a long time coming for the post-hardcore five piece, after a two year hiatus, two break ups, two reformations and a ten-year anniversary tour.

Alongside its title track, the album is rumoured to feature two other sings titled ’Birdgin’ and ‘Picasso Trigger. With their most recent line up taking the form of Nate Barcalow taking the lead on vocals, Alex Linares and Randy Strohmeyer on guitar, Daniel Wonacott on bass and Alex Pappas, let’s hope this next record will be as impressive as their debut, What It Is to Burn.

Finch will be headlining HEVY Festival on August 15th, along with a warm up show at The Underworld on Wednesday 13th August. Additionally, they’ll also be doing an instore session at Banquet records in Kingston on Thursday 14th August.
