Things To Talk About is the brand new single coming from The Landed, a four piece from Essex who have received attention already from Radio 1. They are the perfect festival band with their indie-rock/pop sound, and at times you can hear influences from famous folk band Mumford And Sons.
Hearing the guitar at the beginning of Things To Talk About carries you into a pleasant and easy listening experience, it’s hard not to feel a little happier …especially when you find yourself bobbing your head or swaying along as the song progresses.
This single builds up as the song goes on, you start with the guitar and one voice which moves into harmonies, claps, strings and drums all added one after the other… Basically an audio trifle. The song ends rather abruptly, there’s no fading out of sound, just a huge build up of sound and then it stops which is probably why you’ll end up wanting to play the song over and over again.
2014 has seen this band gain more and more attention from radio stations which can only mean that they are tipped for big things and it’s easy to see why.
The debut EP from The Landed is out on July 28th.
