Beth Prior – Nomad

Reportedly conceived on Soul and Mowtown, raised on Nick Drake, Morrissey and John Martyn, Beth Prior was already off to a great start. This combination of influences was given a healthy dash of Reggae & Ska in her late teens that resulted in a sound that some have likened to ‘Gypsy-Swing, Folk-Pop, and Soul-Punk’.

Last month, the Hertford-born singer songriter released the Nomad EP. Perfect for fans of Kate Nash, Ed Sheeran and Nina Nesbitt, ‘Nomad’ is an incredible, upbeat summer track that you can’t help but sing along to.

Industry giants Kipper Eldridge & Stuart Epps placed ‘Nomad’ in the grand final of the UK Songwriting Contest 2013, an indication that there are great things to come from this dreadlocked folk starlet.
