It’s been a whole 2 years since the release of their last album, ‘Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow’, and today Essex 4-piece We Are The Ocean made their return debuting ‘Ark’ from their upcoming fourth studio album.
Premiering tonight as Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record in the World’ on BBC Radio 1, ‘Ark’ is a completely new sound for We Are The Ocean. Front-man Liam Cromby spoke out about the new material – “We wanted to step out of our normal boundaries of imagination with these new tracks, I think we’ve surprised ourselves and will surprise our fans with what we’ve come up with.”
‘Ark’ is available for free download via their website.
We Are The Ocean’s UK headline tour starts this month, visiting Portsmouth, Bristol, Nottingham, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, London, Reading and Liverpool. Full list of dates and tickets here.
