Band Aid 30 – Do They Know It’s Christmas?

To help raise money for the Ebola crisis, Sir Bob Geldof brought together some of the biggest names in music for Band Aid 30, a fourth recording of the iconic charity Christmas single, this time featuring the likes of One Direction, Seal, Sam Smith, Bono and Ellie Goulding.

Some of the lyrics were slightly altered to in an attempt to be more fitting, including Bono’s recognisable line of “tonight thank god it’s them, instead of you” being changed to “tonight we’re reaching out, and touching you”.

Whilst Rita Ora, Emeli Sande, Bastille, Chris Martin and Ed Sheeran are making their mark vocally during the verses, the chorus can even see the likes of YouTube sensations Zoe Sugg and boyfriend Alfie Deyes taking part in raising awareness.

Download the Band Aid 30 track on iTunes now, where all proceeds of course go to charity.
